24/7 Registered Nurse in New Mexico

About the role

United Energy Workers Healthcare is seeking 24/7 Registered Nurses to work as 1099 Independent Contractors providing in‑home health care to energy workers and their families. The role involves building meaningful relationships, delivering holistic care, and supporting patients in their homes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to ensure personalized, comprehensive care.
• Guide and educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) with dignity and respect.
• Coordinate schedule directly with patients, aligning with their plan of care, approved hours, and preferences.
• Monitor and promptly report any changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the treating physician.
• Communicate with Case Managers and collaborating physicians or specialists.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR system.
• Offer advice and emotional support to patients and family members.
• Prepare clear, compassionate clinical notes and charting.

Qualifications

• Valid and active RN license in the state of practice.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Willingness to travel to patients' homes.
• Ability to pass state and federal background check.
• Malpractice insurance is required.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills with an empathetic approach.

Pay

USD $6,720.00 per week.
