Summary Of Responsibilities
The 21st Century Extended Day Program mission is to nurture intellectual curiosity and reinforce self-confidence in our students through goal-oriented, project-based learning that builds practical skills and develops character. The Academic Enrichment Teacher develops and teaches classes with a strong academic component that demonstrates a link to school day learning, using the Nashua School District Curriculum. The Academic Enrichment Teacher provides students with support with their homework in order for students to meet their grade level expectations. Uses effective strategies for differentiation, interacts positively, professionally, showing respect with students and parents, expects students to learn and not fail, actively engages students in completion of lessons that are planned around grade level expectations and enhance critical thinking skills.
Work Year
The program runs for 3 hours in the afternoon from Monday to Friday (roughly 2:30pm-5:30pm).
Salary Range
$35.00 per hour
