About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager part-time, you will be responsible for assisting the store manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes overseeing inventory, managing staff schedules, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in managing inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock counts.
• Oversee staff scheduling and ensure that shifts are balanced and meet operational needs.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing prompt and courteous service.
• Monitor store performance metrics and report on key performance indicators to the store manager.
• Participate in store meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems.
