About The Opportunity

The Tanabe Gluer Assistant B is responsible for stacking off the finished product in bundles to make a unit. The person in this position will also help the Tanabe Gluer Operator and the Tanabe Gluer Assistant A set up the machine. This person will need to monitor the finished product for quality and keep accurate unit counts.

Job Description

• Stack off and unitize finished product
• Maintain a clean work area
• Assist maintenance in the repair of the machine as necessary
• Rotate positions every couple of hours
• Fill in for Tanabe Gluer Operator and Tanabe Gluer Assistant A in his/her/their absence
• Monitor the finished product for quality
• Complete paperwork for each order as necessary
• Check finished product for quality per customer specifications
• Ensure quality is a work priority by being attentive to detail and accuracy and by actively seeking work process improvements— quality is the responsibility of all employees
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors

• Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
• Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
• Ability to effectively work in teams
• Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
• Ability to read a tape measure/ruler
• Good mathematical skills

Pay

Training rate: $26.68; Qualified rate: $28.70

Schedule

B Shift 3-2-2-3 schedule (M, T, F, S, S, W, T, repeat) 6 am to 6 pm
