2028 to 2029 Abdominal Imaging Fellow
About the role
This appointment will be in the 2028–2029 Abdominal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship Program, providing advanced training in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention. The position functions as a trainee when performing tumor ablation procedures (microwave ablation and cryoablation in both intraoperative and percutaneous settings), selective salpingography, and intraoperative/laparoscopic ultrasound. There is the possibility of extending the position for one additional year.
Responsibilities
- Perform tumor ablation procedures (microwave ablation and cryoablation) in intraoperative and percutaneous settings
- Conduct selective salpingography
- Perform intraoperative and laparoscopic ultrasound
Work location
This position requires onsite work at a designated campus location.
Caregiver check
This position has been identified as a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations. The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
Employment details
Full- or part-time position at 50%–100% FTE. Terminal, 12-month appointment. Position is for one year with the possibility of extending for an additional year based on need and/or funding.
Required qualifications
- 4-year residency in Radiology
- MD or DO degree, or equivalent terminal degree
- State medical licensure
- Wisconsin medical license by start date
- Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Radiology by start date
