2027 Year-long Internship
About the role
Because of Young Life’s exclusive Christian purposes of evangelism and discipleship as set forth in its Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, Young Life shall only employ individuals who profess a belief in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and subscribe to the Young Life Statement of Faith. Employees and volunteers, during working and nonworking hours, must be ready, willing, and able to fulfill ministry functions, refrain from conduct that detracts from biblical standards, and abide by all Young Life policies, including those related to religious belief or ministry activities. Interns play a vital role in Young Life’s camping ministry. They are committed to Christ first and foremost, have the ability to lead others, serve with excellence, and desire to be challenged and grow in their relationship with Christ. Interns will strive together to serve Christ, kids, and each other, grow as leaders in ministry, develop Christ‑like relationships, and enjoy the fun and beauty of camp. Participants will have the opportunity to work in multiple departments during their year, such as Maintenance, Landscaping, Retail, Food Service, Housekeeping, Administration, and Guest Services. Information about specific roles, dates, and local details can be found on each camp’s website under the “Intern” tab.
