2027 Wealth Management Summer Internship Program

About the role

D.A. Davidson Companies, an independent employee‑owned firm with a 90‑year history, offers a Wealth Management Summer Internship Program. Interns work directly with experienced Financial Advisors and other financial professionals, gaining insight into the financial services industry and the firm’s client‑focused, ethical practice. The 9‑week, paid internship includes hands‑on project work, an immersive week at the Seattle corporate office with leadership presentations, community service, and team‑building activities, and the optional opportunity to study for and sit the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam with company‑sponsored preparation.

Responsibilities

• Observe and learn how a successful, ethical wealth‑management practice operates in a branch office.
• Collaborate on various projects that support Financial Advisors and their clients.
• Participate in an action‑packed week in Seattle, engaging with executive and senior leadership, department heads, and peers.
• Study for and optionally sit the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam, with test preparation and testing sponsored by D.A. Davidson.
• Develop professional skills in wealth management, networking, and client service.

Qualifications

• Must have completed at least sophomore year of college prior to June 2027.
• Demonstrated strong academic performance and professional drive.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, teamwork, and service skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Satisfactory results of background, reference, and credit checks.
• Ability to commit to the full 9‑week program.
• Live within the local area of the branch office or have pre‑existing arrangements to reside there for the program’s duration (no transportation or moving assistance provided).

Schedule
