2027 University MBA New Hire - Finance
As a Phillips 66 University MBA New Hire, you will provide financial, strategic, competitive, and decision support analysis to senior management to develop or execute the Phillips 66 strategy. Assignments may include roles in Treasury, Investment Appraisal, Business Development, Strategy, Investor Relations, FP&A, or a business unit.
A core element of the Phillips 66 strategy is building and maintaining a high-performing organization. The MBA Talent Management Team (TMT) supports career management and leadership development for MBA employees. You will gain experience with systems such as Excel, SAP, and Tableau. The role begins at our headquarters in Houston, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Recommend strategies to maximize shareholder return, including share repurchase, dividend growth, or other opportunities
- Assist a business unit with management reporting and analysis
- Build financial models to aid in long-term growth planning
- Analyze corporate or counterparty risk and develop mitigation plans
- Evaluate internal or external projects and provide data for well-informed investment decisions
- Lead a business unit process improvement effort
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Pursuing an MBA with strong economic and financial analysis skills
- Graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027
Qualifications
- Minimum business school GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (preferred)
- Previous internship with Phillips 66 or in a related industry (preferred)
- Technical (Engineering, Chemistry, etc.) or Financial (Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, etc.) undergraduate degree (preferred)
- Strong economic and financial analysis skills with modeling capabilities (preferred)
- Willing to work in Houston, TX (preferred)
