2027 Summer Internship - Software Engineer

About the role

Q2 is a leading provider of digital banking and lending solutions to banks, credit unions, alternative finance companies, and fintechs in the U.S. and internationally. Interns work on real projects such as deploying platform extensions, enhancing the Iso Framework, building front‑end features, researching new product ideas, and creating data pipelines and dashboards that inform business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test software applications
• Analyze and visualize data using Python and SQL
• Collaborate in Agile sprints and participate in code reviews
• Research emerging technologies to help improve our platform

Requirements

• Fluent written and oral communication in English
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship)

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or C#
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and databases is a plus
