Trex Company, the world’s number one decking and railing brand and leader in high‑performance, low‑maintenance outdoor living products, is seeking an Information Technology Intern to support employee technology needs. The role involves partnering with IT colleagues and business functional experts to identify, define, and drive digital capabilities that meet Trex’s strategic and operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users and assist in troubleshooting technology issues.
- Develop new application features while incorporating feedback from team members and clients.
- Maintain and upgrade legacy components to modern development standards.
- Collaborate with team members during design reviews to refine user experience.
- Gather and compile business requirements, perform gap analysis, and design solutions.
- Simulate business process execution in proposed solutions.
- Install and upgrade software and applications.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Strong computer skills.
- Passion to learn.
- Ability to prioritize, manage time efficiently, and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently.
