About the role

This role supports their Line of Business in the development and execution of work projects to support the Business' goals & objectives. The Summer Intern embodies TD's Shared Commitments and customer-focused culture.

Work location and schedule

Mount Laurel, New Jersey, United States of America. 40 hours per week.

Pay

$30.00 USD per hour. The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate's skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs. Growth opportunities and skill development are defining features of the colleague experience at TD. Colleagues may progress through the salary range over time as they progress in their role.

Consumer Banking groups

  • Consumer Deposit & Payment Products (CDPP) – strategy, design and management of deposit products, including checking accounts, savings accounts and CDs
  • Credit Cards & Unsecured Lending (CCUL) – branded credit cards, unsecured personal loans, and strategic partnerships with companies like Target and Nordstrom
  • Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) – residential lending products, including mortgages and home equity products
  • Distribution – store network management and strategy for store transformation, sales and advice, and customer experience
  • Digital Performance – performance of digital and mobile platforms used by customers and small businesses and identifying enhancement opportunities
  • Consumer Business Excellence – cost, controls, and customer experience optimization across the Consumer Bank
  • Wealth – products and advisory services for mass affluent, high net worth, and institutional clients

Internship experience

  • 10-week, non-rotational program with a high-energy introduction to TD Bank U.S.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a post-secondary degree in business-related disciplines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to take initiative and accountability of your actions
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Must be work authorized in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for employer sponsorship
  • Anticipated graduation between December 2027 – June 2028 preferred
