About the program
The Summer internship program at Oppenheimer immerses bright, motivated students in the day-to-day activities of select departments over an eight-to-ten-week period. Interns work side by side with seasoned professionals, receiving hands-on leadership experience and exposure to the Firm’s business channels. The program includes ongoing information sessions on Oppenheimer’s culture and history, department-specific training, and real responsibilities aligned with full-time expectations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a college or university degree with a graduation date between May 2027 and December 2028
- Outstanding record of academic achievement with a minimum 3.2 GPA
- Demonstrated contributions to campus or community activities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Interest in Oppenheimer and the financial services industry

Pay
The current base wage offered for this role in New York City is $20 per hour. Salary decisions may consider skills, qualifications, experience, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
