2027 Summer Internship - Asset Management
About the role
The Summer internship program at Oppenheimer gives participants a unique opportunity to learn about the financial services industry by working side by side with seasoned professionals. Interns gain hands‑on leadership experience while learning about the different business channels within the Firm. The eight‑to‑ten‑week summer internship is designed to fully immerse bright, motivated students in the day‑to‑day activities of select departments. The program includes ongoing information sessions where you’ll learn about the firm’s culture and history, as well as the benefits and responsibilities of being a member of Oppenheimer. In addition to this broader overview, you will also receive department‑specific training designed to help you succeed in your role. Oppenheimer internships are real jobs with real impact; as an intern you will receive responsibilities that come with the same expectations as a full‑time employee, working alongside industry leaders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a college or university degree with a graduation date between May 2027 and December 2028
- Outstanding record of academic achievement – a 3.2 GPA or higher
- Demonstrated contributions to campus or community activities
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- Interest in Oppenheimer and the financial services industry

Pay
The current base wage offered for this role is $20 per hour.
