About the Program

Hubbell’s 10 to 12-week Internship Program offers students hands-on corporate experience, exposure to all aspects of our business, and the opportunity to build the skills needed for a rewarding career at Hubbell. This internship focuses on improving SAP master data quality and governance across HUS manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities

  • Assess material master data accuracy and consistency.
  • Develop standardized data quality metrics and benchmark performance across sites.
  • Analyze results and recommend governance and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Gain exposure to manufacturing operations, supply chain processes, SAP S/4HANA, data analytics, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Deliver measurable business impact through value-added projects.
  • Work in teams and collaborate with colleagues in a professional environment.
  • Develop technical skills specific to your major and industry knowledge relevant to Hubbell’s business.
  • Build relationships and participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Present findings to the local management team at the end of the program.
  • Work on process improvement initiatives and challenging projects with practical applications.
  • Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks while working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Provide support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship program period (May–August 2027).
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to the internship (required).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Prior internship or co-op experience in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, materials management, planning, purchasing, or process improvement is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAP, ERP systems, MRP, inventory management, purchasing, or manufacturing operations preferred.
  • Ability to analyze processes, identify gaps and inconsistencies, document findings, and develop practical recommendations to improve data quality, planning, inventory management, and operational performance.

Pay

Hourly rates for this position range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour ($46,800–$60,320 annualized equivalent), determined based on academic standing and expected graduation date.
