2027 Summer Intern – Lean Material Strategies / Warehouse Management Systems

About the role

The LMS/WMS Intern will support Lean Material Strategies by analyzing warehouse and material-flow processes, improving WMS data accuracy and standard work, and helping translate operational needs into practical process and system improvements. The intern will work with cross-functional partners to improve inventory visibility, material availability, space utilization, and line-side delivery performance, additional special projects in the safety and technology space will be assigned. The Lean Material Strategies team develops scalable material-handling, warehouse, and digital solutions that support safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations. The team partners with plants, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, and information technology to standardize processes, improve material flow, and enable data-driven decisions through warehouse management system capabilities.
