About The Role As a Health Physics/Radiation Protection intern, you will ensure a radiologically and industrially safe working environment for our employees. You will report to the Global Radiation Protection Manager in Corporate EHS. This is a paid full-time remote position for the summer, May - August 2027. Key Responsibilities You will perform Health Physics/Radiation Safety audits at our radioactive materials sitesYou will identify improvements in Corporate Radiological Protection procedures and guidesYou will work on projects using software packages such as CAP-88, NRCDose, etc.You will help implement program improvements at our radioactive materials sitesYou will work with the communications team to author, revise, and publish radiological risk communications documents. Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in health physics requiredExperience with radiological regulatory requirementsCompleted Sophomore year of collegeInterested in a career supporting nuclear power after graduationWillingness to travel to a Westinghouse site on occasion We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
