About the role

This internship centers on supporting corporate tax and tax-planning initiatives through compliance, provision calculations, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Review tax documentation and assist with tax calculations.
  • Support quarterly tax-provision activities.
  • Contribute to tax-planning projects that improve compliance and reporting processes.
  • Apply classroom knowledge to on-the-job experiences.
  • Work on comprehensive, value-added projects in a professional team environment.
  • Develop technical skills specific to your major.
  • Build relationships and learn about other parts of the business.
  • Deliver a presentation to the local management team at the end of the program.
  • Gain industry knowledge as it relates to Hubbell’s business.
  • Hone planning and organizational skills.
  • Tackle challenging, robust projects that provide practical experience.
  • Assist with process improvement.
  • Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Provide support and assistance to co-workers as needed.

Requirements

  • Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the internship period (May–August 2027).
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree related to the internship (required).
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
  • Familiarity with relevant tax or financial software and systems.

Pay

Hourly rates range from $22.50 to $29.00 per hour ($46,800–$60,320 annualized equivalent), based on academic standing and expected graduation date.
