2027 Summer Intern - Finance

About the role

FMC Finance is seeking motivated and detail-oriented summer interns for its 2027 cohort. The internship program offers hands-on experience, development opportunities, and networking with students from various universities. Internships are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the finance function and prepare students for successful careers in finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist finance functions in daily activities and special projects with hands-on application of educational experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Learn, understand, and gain experience through job shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities.
• Contribute new ideas and participate as a team member of the department, including attendance at meetings and networking events.
• Participate in initiatives to modernize finance efforts and support process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree or graduate degree with a finance, accounting, or business focus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic finance principles.
• Ability to perform administrative work with a high degree of proficiency and autonomy.
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on details and accuracy.
• Candidates must have completed the first year of undergrad.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word.

Schedule

• Internship duration typically lasts throughout the summer (Early June through August).
• Position is based at FMC Headquarters in Philadelphia, PA, and is hybrid.
