About the role
2027 Summer Internship – Client Management Account Analyst positions are located at PIMCO’s Newport Beach, CA Headquarters, Austin, TX, and New York, NY.
As an Account Analyst intern, you’ll work alongside Account Associates and broader client servicing teams to support timely, high-quality service across a range of investment strategies. You’ll gain exposure to economic and market analysis, portfolio structures, performance attribution, client reporting, and the ways data, automation, and AI-enabled tools help improve workflows and generate insights. Throughout the summer, you’ll build relationships across teams, strengthen your analytical and communication skills, and gain a strong foundation for a potential long-term career in client management, product strategy, or other client-facing roles.
Requirements
- Undergraduate currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – June 2028
- Must be able to begin full-time employment at a PIMCO office between January 2028 – August 2028
- Minimum 3.2 cumulative collegiate grade point average on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) at an accredited 4-year college or university
- Business proficient in English

Internship Experience
The PIMCO Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August, with the expectation that you will be available for the full duration of the program.
- Week 1: Participate in PIMCO Fundamentals Training to gain skills, knowledge, and relationships for success
- Engage in PIMCO's Global Month of Volunteering to heighten the impact of employee volunteer efforts worldwide
- Join cross-divisional education, networking, and social events
- Receive guidance and mentorship from your supervisor, peer mentor, senior leaders, and team
- Use AI-powered tools from day one, supported by training to strengthen critical thinking, analytical capabilities, and professional judgment
- Receive feedback at mid- and end-of-summer as part of a formal review process
Pay
As a PIMCO intern, you’ll receive competitive compensation with an hourly rate of $43.26, along with a transition bonus to help with relocation to one of our office locations.
