About the role

Dean Dorton’s internship program is designed to help you build the experience you want by exploring your passions early, giving you the tools to achieve your professional goals. Interns gain real-world experience through client engagements and specialized training.

• Apply and expand on your classroom knowledge in real client engagements
• Assist with financial investigations, litigation support, and business valuation projects
• Participate in specialized training on forensic accounting tools, methodologies, and valuation techniques
• Receive mentoring from experienced professionals to develop technical expertise and professional skills

Schedule

June – August 2027
32 - 40 hours per week
On-site in Lexington, Louisville, or Ft. Wright

Qualifications

• Junior or Senior enrolled in an accounting or business program at an accredited University or College
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Strong analytical and communication skills
