What We Do The Flight Controls team is responsible for the design, development, integration, and certification of the Gulfstream Flight Control Systems across all large cabin programs. These systems are complex in nature and are designed by a highly cross-functional team of exceptional engineers in the areas of complex electronics, software, electrical and hydraulic actuation. We are seeking candidates with broad skillsets and various levels of experience to join our team of qualified, diverse individualstowork right hereat our Savannah facility. What You Will Do Develop, Design, and Certify hardware and software aspects of the Flight Control System equipment as a Verification Engineer Write and execute system functional verification testing in an integrated lab environmentDevelop tools that are used by engineering for fleet reliability data analysis and system troubleshootingSupport troubleshooting of in-service issues impacting component reliability Education And Other Requirements Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following disciplines:Aerospace EngineeringElectrical EngineeringMechanical EngineeringComputer EngineeringMust be available to work on-site in Savannah, GA during the Spring 2027 semester.Cumulative GPA of 3.0 (without rounding); must be listed on resume. Job Description Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements: Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher. Completion of sophomore year is required. prior to the internship start date. Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (without rounding); must be listed on resume. Rotation Requirements: Juniors – 2 rotations; Seniors & Graduate Students – 1 rotation. Minimum duration: 12 weeks (summer); 14–16 weeks (spring and fall). Must be onsite; this is not a remote position. Must have reliable transportation. This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
