About the role

The intern will be part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD), working on software test projects.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a potentially useful version of products or demonstrate integrated functionality at the end of each Sprint.
  • Be cross-functional, typically consisting of 10 or fewer members including technical experts, designers, and support personnel.
  • Execute “the How” of each Story while adhering to existing standards, processes, policies, and guidelines to reach the Sprint goal.

Requirements

  • A candidate must be a student enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university.
  • The candidate must be majoring in or having majored in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • The candidate must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
  • The candidate must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite).

  • Overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher preferred.
