2027 Private Wealth Management Summer Internship

About the role

BBH’s 2027 Private Wealth Management Summer Internship is a dynamic 10‑week program that immerses you in the firm’s culture and business needs. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real projects, receive mentorship from BBH owners (Partners and Principals), participate in workshops and speaker series, and benefit from continuous personalized feedback. The program emphasizes a collaborative, on‑site environment and offers opportunities to engage in BBHcares philanthropic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day activities of a dedicated client base and ensure client needs are met and BBH services are properly delivered.
• Support new client onboarding and account opening processes, as well as account reviews.
• Assist in the creation of client meeting materials.
• Gain exposure to the implementation and execution of core portfolio activities.
• Learn to troubleshoot client account issues such as portfolio reporting/activity and support client data requests.
• Obtain exposure to multiple disciplines in the integrated business model (private equity, lending, corporate advisory, family business).

Qualifications

• Current junior in college, entering senior year in fall of 2027.
• Background in and passion for finance, business, or investing.
• Strong academic achievement evidenced by a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of the asset management industry and security markets (equities and fixed income).
• Ability to think creatively and strategically.
• Sound judgment and ability to identify, escalate, and resolve problems.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands.
• Demonstrated passion for teamwork and success.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (customizing charts/graphs, multi‑sheet analysis, linking data across workbooks, advanced formulas).
