About the role

Harris Williams is hiring 2027 M&A Analyst(s) for our Richmond team. In order to be considered, you must complete all requirements listed below. Requirements

  • Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Educational requirement: Eligible candidates should be working towards or already possess a Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution.
  • Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher as a prerequisite.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Recent university/college graduates with little or no professional experience, but possessing relevant skills.
  • Comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • No required certifications or licenses.

Pay

Base Salary: $97,500.00 – $162,500.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and on individual skills, experience, and education.

Schedule

This is an "on-call", in-office role.

Skills

  • Excel – Understanding of formulas, data validation, macros, tables, conditional formatting.
  • Accounting – Working understanding of how the income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet connect and willingness to deepen subject matter expertise over time.
  • Problem solving – Able to identify trends in data and articulate the impact of those patterns.
