About the role

The Local Rotational Program: Technology, Digital & Analytics at Avangrid is a 2-year program designed for recent graduates to gain exposure, experience, and engagement across the organization through three rotational assignments. Participants contribute to projects that support safe and reliable energy services while building technical, business, and leadership capabilities. The program includes mentorship, networking, professional development, and cross-functional collaboration. Positions may be located in Connecticut, New York, Maine, Oregon, or Massachusetts, with a one-time relocation benefit available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in rotational assignments across technology, analytics, digital, and operational support functions.
  • Support data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, and performance measurement activities.
  • Assist with digital transformation, automation, and technology improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams on project assignments.
  • Evaluate data and system information to support operational decision making.
  • Contribute to governance, compliance, cybersecurity, or technology controls as applicable.
  • Support process improvement efforts designed to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage in professional development, mentoring, and leadership learning opportunities.
  • Participate in cross-functional team projects and networking activities.
  • Build experience across multiple technology and analytics disciplines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
  • Ability to work from assigned Avangrid locations participating in the rotational program.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and solve business or technical problems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
  • Communication skills that support cross-functional partnership.

Preferred Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.2 or higher.
  • Technology, analytics, or related internship experience.
  • Exposure to programming, automation, visualization, data analytics, or business intelligence tools.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $97,000, dependent upon experience.
