2027 Intern - Quality Engineer (Electronic Systems) - Hunt Valley, MD

About This Role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Performing quality planning activities including development of First Article Inspection (FAI) plans
• Participating in process improvement activities through monitoring, root cause investigations, data analysis
• Supporting Quality processes in receiving, receiving inspection, assembly, test and shipping areas
• Analyzing production results/inspection data and presenting findings to the team
• Preparing reports on and presenting to factory managers data related to Quality priorities, nonconformances, focus areas, and key issues
• Tracking and reporting on key Quality Engineering activities to ensure proper and timely execution, working with team to improve performance
• Interfacing with internal organizations and systems in performance of the assigned Quality Engineering functions

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications
• Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks
• Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills
• This position requires an individual to be a U.S citizen with the ability to obtain a security clearance
