Responsibilities

  • Work with several attorneys on case development and litigation strategy.
  • Draft pleadings and briefs, conduct legal research, develop strategy, and gather evidence.
  • Attend client meetings and court proceedings.
  • Participate in various programmatic offerings such as seminars, interactions with other environmental groups, and job interview workshops.

Compensation

The total stipend for the summer law clerk position is $1,382.00 per week, minus any external funding received. The position is designed to be 10 weeks long at full-time hours (37.5 hours/week).
