2027 Future Talent Program - Industrial Hygiene Laboratory - Intern

About the role

Assist our company's Global Industrial Hygiene (IH) Laboratory with processing and reporting of occupational exposure samples. This internship lasts up to 12 weeks and includes one or more projects.

Projects may include

• Assisting scientists with basic laboratory tasks such as sample preparation, instrument setup and clean up, IH method validations, data entry, and housekeeping tasks
• Organizing files
• Performing document reviews
• Performing literature searches and summaries for emerging analyses
• Other administrative duties when reporting samples may also be required

Required education

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Microbiology, or other related degree.

Required qualifications

• Should have completed at least 2 years of college course work
• Must be able to work full time for a period of 10-12 weeks
• Critical thinking, communication, problem solving and computer skills
• Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs

Preferred qualifications

• Ability to communicate ideas and explain decisions in a clear and understandable manner
• Ability to work in a small team
• Analytical instrument operation
• College chemistry course in quantitative analysis

Pay

The salary range for this role is $39,908 - $111,111.
