About the role
The Health Economics and Data Sciences (HEDS) division is recruiting summer interns to join a global team of over 50 individuals. HEDS provides strategic and technical leadership to enable patient access, measure and quantify the value of products, inform internal and external decisions, and shape methodology and external health policy and practice. A major responsibility of HEDS is delivering economic assessments that support submissions to Health Technology Assessments worldwide. This internship is part of the Future Talent Program, featuring 10-12 week assignments with one or more projects.
Activities may include (but are not limited to)
- Support the HEDS team in conducting quality assurance tests for both budget impact and cost-effectiveness models
- Work on systematic data standardization, review and collection to support economic models
- Develop tools to enhance quality assurance, quality planning and submission readiness activities
- Support benchmarking activities for deliverables
- Develop capstone presentation illustrating internship activities and deliverables
Required education and skills
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in a science-related discipline
- Available to work full-time in a hybrid capacity for 10-12 weeks beginning in May or June of 2027

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

- Knowledge and experience in economic evaluation of medical interventions
- Expertise and solid hands-on experience in the conceptualization, design, development and dissemination of health economic model approaches to enable internal and external decisions
Pay
Salary range: $39,908 – $111,111
