About the role

At Wallace Design Collective, we are civil engineers, structural engineers, landscape architects, and surveyors who believe great design starts with exceptional collaboration. We don’t just size pipes and grade sites; we partner with architects, owners, and contractors to shape the land and build resilient, sustainable communities. We operate in a dynamic, creative environment where curiosity is celebrated, mentorship is built into the daily routine, and every team member’s voice matters. As an intern, you won't spend your summer doing busywork—you’ll be integrated directly into active project teams, tackling real site development challenges alongside seasoned professionals. As a Civil Summer Intern, you will work side-by-side with our civil engineering team on real commercial, educational, healthcare, and land development projects across the country. You will get hands-on experience in site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management while using industry-standard design tools to bring land development concepts to life.
