2027 Business Valuation Consultant Intern

About the role

As an intern, you'll be treated just like entry level staff and be part of the team providing valuation services to clients. You'll have the flexibility to craft business solutions, not just spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of assignments, including the valuation of equity securities, business enterprises, intangible assets, and stock options
• Participate in all phases of engagement including:
  • Interviewing clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather data and information pertinent to the assignment
  • Researching industry value drivers, including market and competitor information
  • Financial modeling, including discounted cash flow, public market multiple, M&A market transaction and option pricing analyses
  • Assisting in writing valuation reports from start to finish and communicating conclusions to clients
• Support clients requiring opinions for financial reporting, tax planning or litigation support
• Deliver results to clients in industries including private equity, venture capital, manufacturing, tech & software, automotive, architecture & engineering, food & beverage, retail, and healthcare

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills
• Excellent skill sets in the use of MS Word and Excel
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field
• Academic success with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0

Pay

The compensation range for this role in CO, IL, OH, and MA is $33.00 - $36.00 per hour.
