2027 Assurance Winter Intern

About the role

As an Assurance intern, you will work with the assurance team performing detailed verification procedures necessary to perform examinations of our clients’ financial statements, including both public and private client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed verification procedures as part of examinations of clients’ financial statements
  • Work on both public and private client engagements within the assurance team

Schedule

  • Hybrid setting: 24 hours over 3 business days (Monday – Friday; 8:30 am – 5:30 pm)
  • Minimum of 2–3 days per week in-person at your assigned office
  • Entire Winter Internship Program starting in early January 2027

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
  • 0–2 years of recent public accounting experience
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future

Qualifications

  • Pursuing minimum educational requirements for CPA licensure in the state of your assigned office location
  • Pursuing 150 academic credits or a master’s degree in accounting, or equivalent program from an accredited college or university
  • Final graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0

Skills

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word proficiency
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and with a team
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
