2027 Associate Embedded Software Engineer - Pathways Program - Baltimore MD

About the role

At Northrop Grumman Mission Systems, you will work on revolutionary systems that impact global security, including battle management and cyber solutions. This Associate Embedded Software Engineer position is located in Baltimore, MD, participates in the Pathways rotational program, and places you in the BaPS Division. Relocation assistance may be available. A U.S. Government Secret clearance is required for start (U.S. citizenship prerequisite); travel is not required.

Basic Qualifications

• Completing or have completed a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• Majoring in or having majored in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a very closely related STEM field
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite)
• Ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period as determined by the company
• Final DoD Secret Clearance required to start

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher
• Current/active DoD secret clearance

Pay

Salary range: $72,700 to $109,100 (base pay). Additional eligibility for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and annual bonuses tied to individual and company performance. Long‑Term Incentives may apply for senior roles.
