Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with others on the analytics team to develop an understanding of the data, the business, and technical approaches.
  • Understand data sets essential to developing models, visualizations, reports, and insights.
  • View problems as opportunities and adapt quickly to new or changing business circumstances.
  • Proactively seek new information, skills, and experiences, capitalizing on learning opportunities.
  • Work effectively with others to coordinate efforts and produce results in a positive work environment.
  • Leverage key learnings and experiences to grow your own career while contributing to the growth of Trane Technologies.
  • Leverage analytical tools to extract and analyze large data sets to provide actionable insights to the business.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a BS/BA in Analytics related field such as Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, or similar.
  • Cumulative overall GPA at or above 3.0.
  • Interest in a career in Analytics or AI/Data Science.
  • At least one internship or work experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills such as: campus organizations, sports team captain, resident advisor, etc. or exceptional leadership of work projects.
  • U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Skills

  • Coursework or experience utilizing some or all of the following: Python, R, SQL, Dataiku, Tableau, or other visualization software.
  • Experience with cloud based tools like BigQuery, Redshift.
  • Willing to be mobile and relocate anywhere in the United States.

Pay

Hourly Base Pay Range: $22.50 - $30.00

Schedule

This position is eligible for a Hybrid or Onsite work schedule and will be based out of one of our many locations across North America. Flexible work from home options available.
