About the role

As a Software Engineer in Software Engineering for John Deere in Moline, Illinois, you will develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems for the Digital Service Experience tool for John Deere Dealers and customers. Up to 20% domestic and international travel is required to collaborate with other teams. You must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite, with up to 20% remote work allowed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems for the Digital Service Experience tool.
  • Evaluate and implement design enhancements to improve cost, quality, and performance of Dealer and customer service tools.
  • Proactively design solutions for dealers and customers.
  • Monitor and increase application performance.
  • Develop efficient and quality code.
  • Perform application maintenance and collaborate with other applications.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in UI and UX development using React, NextJS, or JavaScript basics.
  • 2 years of experience in end-to-end development from machine CAN messages to dealer-visible applications on browsers, including technologies: C++, Node.js Addons, Node.js Server, React, and AWS.
  • 2 years of experience in design and development of applications using MFE and Module Federation and iframes.
  • 1 year of experience in application development and performance using GitHub Actions as a deployment pipeline and AWS as infrastructure.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, plus 3 years of related experience.

Pay

$113,818 - $123,818 per year + Benefits
