2026 US Open Grounds Crew (Seasonal)
The Role
Follow safety rules and regulations
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Interact with internal and external customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
Maintain all tennis courts, grounds, and landscaping
Install windscreens and various court equipment throughout site
Maintain diverse planting of trees, shrubs and flowers on and around the US Open grounds
Water and monitor the irrigation of plantings
Perform seasonal landscape work such as pruning, clean-up, and leaf removal
Clean up litter of planting beds
Check grounds daily to ensure they are kept neat and clean as per USTA standards
Properly stock and store equipment such as nettings, center straps, and benches
Aid in preparation of facility for US Open
Who You Are
- Must be able to lift 60lbs+
- Landscape experience is preferred
- Comfortable operating machinery and using tools
- Punctual and presentable shift attendance, neatly groomed in a clean, well-maintained uniform
- Available to work for the full duration of the US Open tournament
- Available to work 12+ hour shifts and be available days, nights, and weekends
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and able to stand for extended periods
- Personable and proactive team player with excellent communication skills
- Remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment as well as during stressful situations

- Compensation: This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $19.00
