- Sunday, July 12th from 3pm until 5pm
- Friday, July 17th from 7pm until 9pm
- Saturday, August 1st from 4pm until 6pm

About the Role
We are now hiring seasonal Scare Actors for the 2026 Fright Fest Season. Must be able to work weekends in the fall. No previous experience necessary. We will train the right person. Get ready to have a terrifyingly good time this Fright Fest season. Scare some guests, make some friends, have new experiences, and earn money while doing it. This year, enjoy Six Flags Fright Fest from the other side
Responsibilities
- Provide thrilling and atmospheric entertainment while interacting with park guests.
- Perform regularly in assigned area (Street Scare Zone or Haunted House) while adhering to schedules, as assigned by Entertainment Leadership.
- Develop skills/knowledge to maintain excellent quality show/appearance.
- Maintain personal appearance by meeting costume and makeup requirements.
- Aid in the daily operational aspects of assigned show, reporting prop/costume repairs in a timely manner.
- Interact and support fellow cast and crew members to maintain a fun and safe working environment.
- Execute backstage tasks and/or cleaning duties as outlined in daily schedule.
- Ensure adherence to safety and procedural directions that accompany this position.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age to be hired as a Fright Fest Employee.
- Must demonstrate ability to perform in casted role during the audition process.
- Must be able to work outdoors during evening hours in various weather conditions.
- Must be available for all rehearsal and performance dates (schedule conflicts must be pre-approved).
- Previous performance in community/school extra-curricular activities is helpful but not required.
- Must be able to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude to ensure excellent guest service.
- Scare Acting can be a physically demanding job that requires you to be able to stand, walk, crouch for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, reach & lift up to 30 lbs. Some positions require ability to climb stairs.
- Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties.
- Must be able and willing to adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, both behind the scenes and in front of guests.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Must be able to successfully complete all company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within set and established timelines.
Skills
- Stilt Walkers - Height range between 5’11 - 6’4 - slender build
- Female Actors - Height range between 5’5 - 5’8 - must be able to memorize & deliver a script, slender to average build
- Female Actors - Height range between 4’10 - 5’6 - must be physically agile and flexible, slender to average/ athletic build
- Male Actors - Height range between 5’8 - 5’10 - average build, strong vocal presence
- Male Actors - Height range between 5’11 - 6’4 - average to muscular/ large build
- Female Actors - Height range between 5’10 - 6’2 - thin to average build
Benefits
Training for various roles begin mid-August and Fright Fest runs through Sunday, November 1st. Fittings & rehearsals began mid to late August.
