Duties
- Collaborate with Summer Program Site Coordinators on maintaining up to date student health information for the summer.
- Oversee and administer medication; per student medical records and IEP/504 plans.
- Respond appropriately to health emergencies, and offer appropriate First Aid.
- Assess the social and emotional climate for the students.
- Help establish a positive school culture and climate where every child feels safe and respected.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse, Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant.
- Must have three (3) to five (5) years of experience in nursing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to be empathic and listen to others.
- Possession of current CHA employment status is preferred.
- Experience working with youth.
- Nursing experience within a school setting is preferred.
