2026 Intern - Mechanical Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on assigned projects with the close supervision of mentor/supervisor
• Observe activities of the assigned department/unit
• Aid mentor/supervisor in day-to-day tasks
• Actively participate in Complex safety/environmental programs
• Maintain intern work/activity journal
• Presentation to management team

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have completed second year of college
• Must be majoring in Mechanical Engineering
• Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• Close, distance, color, peripheral, depth vision
• Ability to adjust focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Sometimes moderate noise in office
• May require use of PPE in operating units
• Exposure to outside elements
• May involve use of stairs and elevators
• Travel may be required
