2026 Intern - Electrical Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work on assigned projects with the close supervision of mentor/supervisor
• Observe activities of the assigned department/unit
• Assist mentor/supervisor in day-to-day tasks
• Actively participate in Complex safety/environmental programs
• Maintain intern work/activity journal
• Presentation to management team

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have completed second year of college
• Must be majoring in Electrical Engineering
• Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Must make general decisions requiring judgement and perform activities requiring sustained concentration

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Noise level in the work environment is sometimes moderate when working in an office
• Sometimes required to work in the operating units which mandates usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.
• May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators
• Travel including air travel or auto travel may occasionally be required
