What You Will Do
- circuit analysis
- circuit simulation
- design documentation
- maintenance
- obsolescence trade assessments
- troubleshooting
- interconnect development
- resolution of hardware performance issues
- hands-on lab work in analog and/or digital electronics
- utilizing industry-standard CAE (Computer-Aided Engineering) tools for electrical engineering
- engaging in schematic capture, HDL code development, synthesis, simulation, and testing
- supporting troubleshooting efforts in lab environments and during system integration
- documenting design approaches, test results, and issues in a structured manner
Qualifications You Must Have
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics
- Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience in documenting test results and providing repair recommendations
- Experience working in a lab environment with standard Electrical Engineering lab equipment (e.g., Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters (DMMs), and signal sources)
- Experience with Mentor Graphics, MATLAB, or PSPICE
