Time Commitment: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday (schedule subject to change due to event weeks or external meetings)

Requirements

  • Must be a rising college junior, senior, or graduate student
  • Able to receive course credit (this internship is unpaid)
  • Able to work part-time, in-office (Nashville, TN)

About the Role

Intern candidates will select their preferred department—Events & Operations, Digital Marketing, or Strategic Partnerships—and work with the department head throughout the semester. All internships are well-rounded; interns will collaborate on projects across departments and gain live-event experience while playing an active role in planning the annual fundraiser and member events.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnerships

  • Assist with corporate and individual membership campaigns
  • Update GlueUp CRM database for the membership program
  • Collect and manage RSVPs for member activities and events
  • Assist with planning and executing member events and Young Professionals Events

Digital Media & Marketing

  • Create dynamic digital content for social media, including photography, short-form video editing, and graphic design for the annual NSC Golf Tournament and member events
  • Support the development and management of social media calendars and platforms for NSC, MCB, and partner events to drive engagement and awareness
  • Analyze social media and marketing campaign performance to identify successes, trends, and areas for improvement; present actionable insights
  • Design educational and insightful decks/presentations on social analytics, partner communications, and campaign pitches
  • Craft engaging weekly newsletters for the member database
  • Maintain and analyze content and data for NSC and MCB websites, ensuring accuracy, usability, and optimized user experience
  • Assist with marketing strategies through social media, e-marketing, and website promotion to support the growth of NSC and partner events

Events & Operations

  • Assist with the overall strategy of Sports Council events by supporting bids, site visits, and research
  • Play an active role in event-day execution and management, specifically for the annual fundraiser and member events
