2026 Building Maintenance Laborer FTYR (2nd shift)

About the role

This is a full-time, year-round position on the second shift in our Building and Grounds Department. The role is responsible for maintaining our buildings to meet owner and guest satisfaction. This is a non-exempt hourly position reporting to the Manager of Buildings and Grounds.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and periodic inspections of the property.
• Perform preventative building maintenance and repair as needed.
• Handle minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, sheetrock, and electrical work.
• Move furniture and meeting supplies.
• Maintain and open/close all buildings.
• Test and maintain pools and hot tubs.
• Assist conference sales staff with meeting room set-ups and breakdowns.
• Assist guests with luggage as needed.
• Respond to guests and owners calmly and professionally in emergency situations.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.
• Assist in winter snow cleanup: shoveling, salting, sanding, snow blowing.
• Assist in summer/spring cleanup: raking, mulching, road cleanup.

Requirements

• Must be punctual and prepared to perform work duties.
• Must be available on weekends, holidays, and work a flexible schedule.
• Must respond in a timely manner to work orders or assignments.
• Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Operate machinery and power tools safely, complying with OSHA, company, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Maintain all company equipment and tools.
• Must be able to climb ladders, stoop, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift fifty pounds.
• Must be over 18 and possess a valid driver’s license.

Schedule

Second shift, full-time, year-round. Includes weekends and holidays.
