Unity is a small, open-enrollment, community-based charter school in central Brooklyn serving grades 6–12. • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles and readiness levels

Key qualifications

• Master’s degree with New York State teaching certification
• 2+ years of formal teaching experience in New York
• Proven ability to accelerate student growth and mastery
• Skill in differentiating instruction to support a wide range of learners
• Ability to plan rigorous, engaging, and culturally responsive curricula aligned with New York State standards
• Balance of high expectations and high support, growth mindset, and joy in working with adolescents
• Strong interpersonal and classroom management skills; ability to build productive relationships with students and families
• Excellent written and oral communication; skilled collaborator in team settings
