About the role
The School Psychologist will provide a full range of psychological services to children, including screening and assessment, designing remedial education programs, individual and group counseling with school staff, parents, and outside agencies as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Provide psychological services to students, families, and staff.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to implement effective educational strategies.
- Counsel students, parents, and staff members to address emotional and behavioral issues.
- Develop and implement mental health programs and resources within the school setting.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in School Psychology or related field.
- Required License: Nevada school psychologist license issued by the Nevada Department of Education.
- Nationally certified school psychologist certification or completion of an approved school psychology program.

Pay
Current salary range is $57,561 minimum - $116,008 maximum depending on experience and education. Additional pay of $2,000 will be added for the 2026-27 school year due to SB500 funds.
Schedule
The position is scheduled 202 days per year.
