About the role
Elementary Grade teachers are part of a grade level team, and are responsible for approximately 12-15 students. A teen madrichim, teaching assistant, works in every classroom assisting teachers and working with the students. Elementary students also attend arts classes during the morning sessions taught by art specialists in music, visual arts, drama, and dance. Classes occur on Sunday mornings from 9:00-12:30PM.
Responsibilities
- Teach Sunday morning classes for grades K-2nd
- Work with a teen madrichim and other teaching assistants
- Attend arts classes taught by art specialists
Requirements
- Ability to teach beginning Hebrew is preferred but not required
- Support from the Director of Education and CBI staff
Qualifications
- Experience teaching children in a Jewish educational setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
- Sunday only: $26-$33 per hour
- (Estimated Monthly Hours: 14hrs. minimum)
- (Estimated Monthly Hours: 32 hrs. minimum including virtual Hebrew)
Schedule
- Sunday mornings from 9:00-12:30PM
