Job Title: Special Education Paraprofessional Locations: District Wide Classification: Non-certified Hourly Position Terms of Employment: Number of teacher days on current adopted calendar Reports To: Building Principal Job Summary: Shall perform a variety of duties, but are not limited to, those listed below as in accordance with the North Callaway R-l Board of Education policies and regulations and administrative rules under the direction of the Building Principal and Special Education Teacher. Primary responsibilities are to assist teachers in providing adequate educational experiences in relation to the objectives of public education, district goals, and student needs. Qualifications of the Special Education Paraprofessional: 60 college hours or Paraprofessional certificate is required. Experience in special needs child care in an educational setting is desired.
