About the role
The Head Girls Beach Volleyball Coach at Paradise Valley High School will oversee all aspects of the beach volleyball program for the season dates of February 8, 2027 - May 8, 2027. The position is temporary and full-time (1.0 FTE). The salary for this role is $3,625.00.
Essential Functions
Assesses student athletes for feedback and team placement.
Attends meetings and workshops to receive and convey information.
Develops team and individual practice regimes and game strategies.
Guides other coaching personnel and provides recommendations for program enhancements.
Maintains records and ensures efficient program operation.
Instructs student athletes and promotes sportsmanship.
Maintains academic eligibility and intervenes for student athletes needing assistance.
Monitors and supervises assistant coaches, student managers, and volunteers.
Promotes the athletic program through various activities.
Responds to inquiries and keeps the school athletic director informed of program issues.
Ensures high standards of personal conduct and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities
Working under limited supervision following standardized practices and methods.
Directing other persons within a small work unit.
Utilizing resources from other work units to perform job functions.
