About the role

The Department of Sociology at Sacramento State is seeking qualified candidates for its lecturer pool to teach lower- and upper-division courses. Requirements

  • Master’s degree, or minimum of Bachelor’s degree with successful advancement to candidacy in a Doctoral program in a related field
  • Teaching experience in both in-person and online courses in higher education
  • Ability to teach classes with 40 students
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and embrace cultural diversity and inclusive practices in teaching

  • Doctoral degree in a related discipline preferred

Benefits

Pay

  • Lecturer A: $5,507 - $6,677
  • Lecturer B: $6,221 - $13,224
  • Lecturer C: $6,825 - $14,523
  • Lecturer D: $8,593 - $15,211
