About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing educational services to students in a variety of settings, including classrooms, labs, and outdoor learning environments. They will also be expected to collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, assess student progress, and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with district standards and objectives
- Assess student learning through various methods and provide timely feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective instructional strategies
- Engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and communicate regularly with families
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Valid teaching license in the state of Kentucky
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Knowledge of current educational theories and practices
- Proficiency in using technology tools for teaching and learning
